Let me introduce myself -my name is Deanna. I have been serving Simcoe county and area painting for 20 years. I have a team of 5 who are fully skilled and dedicated to meet all your house painting needs. Making your house a home is our specialty. 

In 2017 I decided to get my degree in interior decorating. Being a single mother with three, I wanted to show my children that I was more than just a painter as well gain more knowledge to add to my expertise in the industry. Running a painting business and going to college at 35 with three children was definitely a challenge. I found myself many times falling asleep at the dinner table doing my homework, after the kids went to bed. There was times that I wanted to give up, but I kept pushing and telling myself there was a light at the end of the tunnel and I was going to find it. I most certainly did. I made it to the Dean’s list three times with my highest GPA at 86%. 

Dedication and work certainly does pay off. Since then I have been working alongside with customers assisting with all painting and decorating needs. I really enjoy colour and the satisfaction of pleasing customers.

I thrive on always trying to do and be the best that I can be. My dream has always been to have my own painting studio. Recently my wishes came true. I have taken over Stonehouse designs from Kelly. I am so thankful she has given me this wonderful opportunity. I’m certainly going to take it and shoot for the stars. Located in the heart of Barrie I have found a beautiful space where my customers can come to shop, be creative and learn to paint.

Fusion Mineral Paint  is one of the best paints I have ever used. I could never see myself using anything else on my furniture and smaller project pieces. It is so easy to work with when you know how to use it. Thankfully,  I now have the opportunity to sell it in my paint studio as well teach it. My goal is to have the community come together in a peaceful environment where you can learn, shop, be creative. Painting is good for the mind, and also very good for the soul.

You may not only paint projects for your home you may consider taking it up as a small hobby and painting pieces and selling to others. Many clients have found cheap or free pieces on Kijiji or marketplace. I’ve shown them in a few simple steps how to complete and now they are making extra money in return. So fantastic! Birthday parties, bridal, baby showers no problem I’ve got you covered. I will host from start to finish and together we will create a piece dedicated to whatever occasion needed.

Did someone say paint party??? Every Wednesday I will be hosting a workshop. Some nights you can bring in a small piece of furniture, or I will provide a piece. Together we will turn that piece into a beautiful accomplishment. Certain proceeds from my workshops that I do will be donated to different associations such as mental health, abused and battered woman, Canadian Centre for men and families. 

I want to help make this world a better place.

These past couple years have been such a struggle. No one deserves to be hurting.
